Privacy Policy – Vio Aura

Last updated: 23 October 2026. This is a translation; the German version prevails.

1. Controller

LBY IT UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Von-Eichendorff-Str. 9, 86470 Thannhausen, Germany
Email: info@lby-it.de · Managing director: Oliver Kruse

2. Your data stays on your device

3. What the app processes on your device

Period dates you log, your usual period and cycle length, app settings (reminders, app lock, backup folder) and whether Pro is unlocked. This is health data under Art. 9 GDPR. Because it never leaves your device, we do not process it. You can delete it at any time (Settings → "Delete all data" or uninstalling the app).

4. Backups

Automatic Android backup to Google's cloud is disabled for Vio Aura. When moving directly to a new device (cable or Wi-Fi), data may be transferred. Exports and the automatic backup (Pro) are saved only to a location you choose; if that location is a cloud storage service, that provider's privacy terms apply.

5. Buying Pro via Google Play

Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play, which handles payment and account data under its own responsibility. Through the Google Play Console we receive transaction details (e.g. order number, country, amount), which we keep to meet legal retention obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR). 6. App lock and notifications

The app lock uses your device's unlock function. Vio Aura never receives biometric data, only "unlocked" or "not unlocked". Reminders are calculated and shown locally.

7. Your rights

For data related to purchases you have the rights under Art. 15–21 GDPR and may complain to a supervisory authority, e.g. the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA).

8. Not a medical device

Vio Aura is not a contraceptive and not a medical device. Predictions are estimates.
